Path to Self
therapeutic Sessions with Psychologist Diana Papirnyk
“Path to Self” is a series of therapeutic sessions designed for teenagers, focused on building emotional resilience, developing self-awareness, and supporting the conscious processing of personal experiences.
This work supports participants in:
Understanding their emotions and reactions
Gradually rebuilding a sense of inner stability
Developing the ability to make decisions
Finding clarity in their direction
How the sessions work
Sessions take place online in small groups, guided by Together’s psychologist Diana Papirnyk.
This is not a lecture format, and not a set of generic advice.
This is not a lecture format, and not a set of generic advice. It is a structured process:
- dialogue and reflection
- practical exercises
- processing emotions within a safe environment
- peer support
This format allows participants not only to speak about their experiences, but to gradually understand and integrate them.

Sessions address experiences of loss, adaptation to new environments, and prolonged uncertainty.
Professional psychological support
A sense of shared experience with peers facing similar challenges
This helps reduce isolation, rebuild emotional stability, and develop internal resources for moving forward.

Art therapy
For participants who find it difficult to express emotions verbally, art therapy sessions are offered.
Through creative practices, participants are able to:

- reduce internal tension
- better understand their internal state
This approach is particularly effective when working with anxiety, stress, and deeper emotional experiences that are difficult to articulate.
Outcomes
Develop a deeper understanding of themselves
Build skills of emotional regulation
Gain confidence in themselves
Find clarity in what they want and where they are going
Approximately 70% of participants report improved emotional well-being and increased confidence in making decisions about their future.
Why it matters
Adolescence is a formative period in which one’s sense of self, personal value, and ability to shape one’s life are developed.
With the right support, this process becomes more conscious, more stable, and less overwhelming.
“Path to Self” is not only about support. It is about building an inner foundation that allows young people to move forward — regardless of circumstances.
